MISSIONS
At CCB we are called to be a missionary people. This means we follow the tasks set out for us by Jesus to spread good news throughout the land as well as being attentive to the needs people face.
Giving
10% of all Pledges and Plate Offerings go to our Missions Fund. These offerings are then distributed to our regional and national American Baptist organizations as well as local, national and international causes.
We aim to reach as many of the needs affecting our community and the world as we can. Causes include food insecurity, local support for the elderly and disabled, disaster relief, and youth development.

Assistance Fund
The Assistance Fund (formerly Deacon's Fund) was set up to address specific requests that come from members of our community. It is used to provide a supply of grocery and gas gift cards, as well as help with housing and bills. We recognize difficult situations come up in people's lives and we are fortunate to be able to assist in those sire moments.
Love God's House Fund
This is a special fund use to pay for costly improvement projects on CCB's property. The fund is not used for regular maintenance, but for large one time improvements or repairs. If you love the building and grounds and want to see them maintained, this is a fund to support.

A portion of our quarterly mission giving goes to the United Mission Fund of American Baptist Churches USA.
United Mission is a simple yet intentional way that American Baptists contribute to a shared financial fund that is designed and used for mission and ministry that has an impact across the whole American Baptist family. It goes to fund mission efforts and ministries of the 33 ABC regional entities, the Office of the General Secretary, and the Board of General Ministries. Portions of United Mission also directly support services provided by our national ABC partners.
