THE NARTHEX ART WALL

The back wall in the Narthex of the Sanctuary has been reserved for artistic installations and displays. Sometimes this will take the form of a mural. Other times it will be a progressive project that guides the congregation through a worship season such as LENT or ADVENT. It is ever-changing and always inspiring.

You will see some of the ways in which the Narthex Wall has been used below.

Out of the Wilderness

A Lenten Journey

Using the devotional, The Desert of Compassion, we spent Lent 2025 seeking to make the journey from the wilderness to the cross. Each week we took a step further, all the while keeping our minds on the purpose and dedication honed in the wilderness experience.

Congregants were given an element during each Sunday of Lent to contribute to the mural.
